In "Discovery Channel", Moroccan artist UZ brings together both the mysterious beauty, and the enchanting terror of the forest. Four tempestuous original tracks, coalesce into the perfect psychedelic storm. Intoxicating atmospheres gather in a dense, foreboding fog over thunderous basslines. A saturated flurry of mutating leads, drenched in layers of modulated shamanic intent, cascade with gale force through the speakers; leaving remnants of haunted melodies and distorted synthesis in its wake. UZ manages to carefully balance honoring the pillars of the forest subgenre, while simultaneously pushing it into new realms.
