Manifesting in the form of six harrowing tales, this intricately woven EP takes listeners out of Plato’s cave and across the River Styx, exploring the deepest realms of Sheol in a quest for understanding. The ghostly wail of banshees echoes in harmonic bliss with the gurgling sounds of an ancient alien transmission over a pulsating rhythm, perfectly in sync with the vibrations of legendary beasts slumbering in the abyss below. Vibrant orchestrations of terror-inducing atmospheres build in mighty crescendos of euphoric release as the thundering bass comes roaring across the vast chasms of oblivion. Tribal percussion accentuates the hallucination-inducing synths, calling forth the forest spirits as time and space slowly swirl into a synesthetic experience that defies the senses.
Paranoiac’s unparalleled story-telling abilities paint a psychedelic soundscape that bends genres to their primeval core, as tempo becomes secondary to plot.
