Swedish artist Déjà Djinn burrows deep into the nether realms with 'Earthly Collision', his new EP from Multifrequency Records. These three cosmically-rooted tales of earthly madness embrace the harrowing inevitability of fate, while concurrently indulging in the tangible delights of the senses. With a vast array of influences spanning the entirety globe, Déjà Djinn weaves an intricate web of transcendental inspiration that pulls from every corner of the psychedelic electronic music spectrum. Seismic basslines and powerful dark grooves provide an archaic foundation for a pure trance dance experience, while mind-bending sonic layering enraptures listeners and catapults their cortex into the noosphere. Razor sharp hi-tech leads slice through cascading atmospheres that almost seem to float above the deep, forested undergrowth brewing in the lower mid-range. 'Earthly Collision' combines this myriad of sounds and styles into one cohesive narrative of mystical sensations.
