Bushido, the way of the warrior, requires not only bodily strength but also a calm and focused mind. Japanese-based producer Suke brings this balance to light with his new EP ‘Samurai Meditation’. A masterful storyteller, Suke elegantly weaves deep, powerful basslines with psychedelic leads that stretch and grow like cosmic vines deep in alien jungle undergrowth. These surreal audio landscapes blanket the listener in immensely layered patterns of sound, while the tempo pushes the bodily breakthrough with meditative pulsations that seem to breath as they help aid in the journey. A futuristic and versatile blend of hi-tech, forest and darkpsy, Suke’s polished production work allows the mysterious aesthetics on ‘Samurai Meditation’ to take full control in private headphone rituals, as well as on large systems at massive nocturnal gatherings.
